TOOT is a men's underwear brand that combines the meticulous sewing techniques of Japanese craftsmen with high-quality materials to create comfortable, durable, and innovative innerwear that is 100% handmade in Japan.

Established in 2000, TOOT quickly became a popular brand among young people due to its fashionable and comfortable products. The comfort of TOOT innerwear lies in its three-dimensional cutting, which is made possible by the brand's in-house factory located in Miyazaki Prefecture.

The factory employs dozens of experienced sewing workers who use their skills and 10 different sewing machines to hand-sew each product. For example, a four-needle sewing machine is used to sew the interface between two pieces of fabric, which not only ensures a tight seam but also makes the innerwear more durable. The flat seam also creates a comfortable and skin-friendly feel when worn.

Due to the hand-sewn process and the brand's insistence on "Made in Japan," TOOT innerwear is not cheap, ranging from 2,600 yen to over 20,000 yen. However, due to its comfort and fashionability, TOOT remains a top-selling brand of men's underwear at the Isetan Shinjuku department store, with sales figures consistently topping the charts. Additionally, TOOT introduces new styles every week, giving consumers more choices and attracting customers to purchase the latest styles, thereby increasing the brand's popularity.

In addition to requiring special sewing machines, special techniques are also needed to sew different parts of the innerwear. TOOT innerwear is particularly known for its three-dimensional cutting that provides a snug fit, making sewing the pouch area a significant challenge. Since the pouch area fabric is longer, it requires skilled sewing workers to connect it perfectly with the surrounding fabric using sewing machines.
